About the Flutes in Columbia Flute Choir
We are often asked about the different flutes we play. Some of the larger flutes are
relatively new inventions and many people have never seen or heard them. Read more

The flutes are (from left to right): FLUTE (C FLUTE), PICCOLO, BASS FLUTE,
ALTO FLUTE, CONTR'ALTO FLUTE, CONTRABASS FLUTE, 8 feet in length,
and the SUB CONTRABASS FLUTE IN G, a full 12 feet in length.
